Hydrogen Partnership Takes Off at London Gatwick

🚀 Airbus, London Gatwick, EasyJet, and Air Products have partnered to expand hydrogen infrastructure in the UK, moving closer to the goal of hydrogen-powered flights by 2035. This collaboration, announced at Farnborough Airshow on July 18th, is a major step towards making hydrogen aviation a reality.

👉 Development of liquid hydrogen storage and refueling infrastructure at London Gatwick.

London Gatwick’s CEO highlighted the potential of hydrogen for short-haul flights, while Airbus emphasized the importance of reliable infrastructure for their ambitious 2035 goals. EasyJet’s COO noted the project’s role in preparing UK airports for a hydrogen-powered future.

This partnership complements ongoing efforts by EasyJet and Airbus with Hydrogen South West, aiming to bring hydrogen benefits to southwest England.
