After 6️⃣0️⃣ years of history, the Delta program came to an exciting conclusion with the last launch of the heavy Delta IV rocket by United Launch Alliance (ULA). 🚀
The rocket took off last Tuesday from Launch Complex-37 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, 🇺🇸 carrying the NROL-70 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office. 🔝 This launch marks the end of the Delta era and initiates the future of heavy transportation with ULA’s next-generation Vulcan rocket.
Mission NROL-70 was ULA’s successful 35th launch with the NRO, and the company looks forward to continuing to launch future national security space missions.
